Heather Jameson, PhD

Heather obtained her PhD in molecular medicine from the George Washington University.  Her graduate work focused on the stress induced elevations in heart rate and blood pressure that occur in the highly prevalent cardiovascular disease, obstructive sleep apnea.  Heather joined the Ellinor lab in August 2015, and is currently studying global ubiquitination profiling to access how CAND2 mediated ubiquitination influences the progression of atrial fibrillation.  Heather is supported by a postdoctoral fellowship award in cardiac electrophysiology from the Heart Rhythm Society.
