My name is Kareemah Ni. I moved to Boston for Bachelor’s in Biochemistry and Master’s in Biotechnology at Boston University. In the past two years, I studied the role of extracellular vesicles in macrophage inflammation, focusing on pulmonary, immunology, and critical care. I am interested in research that utilizes different model systems to discover novel molecular mechanisms or biomarkers that help with disease diagnosis or treatment. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, exploring the city, and listening to music.
