Bryan MacDonald was a Research Scientist in the Cardiometabolic Disease Program of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. He received his B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from Missouri State and Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan under the mentorship of Miriam Meisler, Ph.D. Bryan joined the laboratory of Xi He, Ph.D. at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School for his postdoctoral research studying the molecular mechanisms of the Wnt signaling pathway. Bryan focused on applying his training and experience to identify and characterize new cardiovascular drug targets in collaboration with Bayer HealthCare.
