Lizzie received her Bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering from Clemson University. During her time, she conducted research developing a targeted drug discovery system in the treatment of glioblastomas and investigated the effect of long-term smoking on fracture healing. Lizzie joined the group in June 2019 and is currently involved in the differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells into cardiomyocytes for use in target validation and assay development.
