Maiwen just graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign this past spring. She is from Chicago and is a die hard Bears and Bulls fan. In her free time, she likes to read books (fantasy, autobiographies, memoirs, and history novels [she is always looking for recommendations!]), spend time in the sun, and online shop. She is Cameroonian and Togolese, so her first language is French. A fun fact about her is that she has a twin brother! She is looking forward to getting to know you all and learning lots of new science.
