Mary Banks earned her MD from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Mary started her postdoctoral fellowship after completing medical school and is focusing on a project involving the genetics of atrial fibrillation. She is also continuing a clinical research study enrolling patients with lone atrial fibrillation. Along with research, Dr. Banks has been accepted to the Program in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health which will provide 1/3 of a Master of Public Health degree. She will continue her clinical career after her postdoctoral fellowship with the intention to practice cardiology in an academic institution as well as finish her MPH.
