Mostafa’s research interests include investigating the use of wearable devices in the diagnosis and management of cardiac disease, and applying machine learning to high-dimensional cardiac data and large EHR databases to diagnose, risk stratify, and explore mechanisms of cardiac disease. He is working in these areas in the Ellinor lab under the support of the MGH CVRC T32 training grant, and is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Health Data Science at the Harvard School of Public Health. After completing his general cardiology fellowship, he plans to continue his clinical training in cardiac electrophysiology.
